"Fading Fury": The upcoming Photo Book by Jehsong Baak

Fading Fury by Jehsong Baak

In a previous post we introduced Jehsong Baak, an exceptional american photographer, currently living in Paris. Baak is about to publish his third photo book, where the selected photographs offer an introspective look reflecting upon the leftovers of a distant past. As the photographer states:

"It seems the time has come to travel back almost 30 years to New York City to rediscover my younger self, a lost soul filled with rage and longing. Friends, lovers and acquaintances resurface, many whose names I have forgotten. Standing amongst them is my father, who never offered any answers to the stifling mysteries of my family’s past.

They let me gaze upon them all, one more time, and in doing so help me to turn the page, burying the demons who have haunted me for so long…"
